1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which BatchJob.ai (operated by Reventis) may issue refunds for credit purchases and subscription payments. We strive to be fair and transparent in all refund decisions.

2. Credit Purchases (Pay-as-you-go)

2.1 Non-Refundable After Use

Credits purchased for pay-as-you-go usage are non-refundable once used. This includes:

  • Credits used to process AI requests (successful or failed)
  • Partial consumption of credit packages
  • Credits automatically deducted for batch job processing

2.2 Unused Credit Refunds

You may request a refund for unused credits under the following conditions:

  • Request made within 14 days of purchase
  • Credits have not been used for any AI requests
  • No previous refund requests in the past 12 months
  • Account in good standing (no violations of Terms of Service)

2.3 Refund Exceptions for Credits

We may issue refunds outside the standard conditions in cases of:

  • Technical errors that resulted in incorrect charges
  • Service outages preventing credit usage for extended periods
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (with proof)
  • Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors

3. Pro Subscription ($19.99/month)

3.1 Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to Pro features until the subscription expires
  • No partial refunds for unused portions of the month

3.2 Pro Subscription Refunds

Pro subscription refunds are granted only in the following circumstances:

  • First Payment: Full refund if cancelled within 7 days of initial subscription and no subscription bonus credits have been used
  • Service Failure: Pro-rated refund if the Service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours
  • Billing Errors: Immediate refund for duplicate or incorrect charges
  • Unauthorized Charges: Full refund with proof of unauthorized transaction

Important: For monthly subscriptions, if any of the monthly $10 bonus credits have been used, the subscription payment is non-refundable. For annual subscriptions, if any portion of the $120 bonus credits have been used, the subscription is non-refundable.

3.3 Monthly and Annual Subscription Credits

Monthly Pro ($19.99/month):

  • $10 in credits added on each subscription renewal date
  • Credits never expire and remain in your account balance
  • Credits roll over month-to-month as part of your total balance
  • Non-refundable once any portion has been used

Annual Pro ($199/year):

  • $120 in credits added upfront ($10 × 12 months)
  • Credits never expire and remain in your account balance
  • Full year of Pro access with all features
  • Non-refundable once any portion has been used

4. Signup Bonus and Free Credits

  • The $1 signup bonus is promotional and non-refundable
  • 10 free monthly messages (Free tier) have no monetary value and cannot be refunded
  • Promotional credits cannot be exchanged for cash

5. How to Request a Refund

5.1 Refund Request Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  2. Include your account email address and transaction details
  3. Provide a reason for the refund request
  4. Attach any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots, transaction IDs)

5.2 Processing Time

  • We will review your request within 2 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • You will receive email confirmation once processed

5.3 Information Required

To expedite your refund request, please provide:

  • Account email address
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • Payment method used (last 4 digits of card)
  • Reason for refund request
  • Stripe transaction ID or receipt (if available)

6. Service Outages and Disruptions

6.1 Planned Maintenance

  • No refunds for scheduled maintenance (announced in advance)
  • Typically conducted during low-usage hours

6.2 Unplanned Outages

If the Service is unavailable for extended periods due to technical issues:

  • Less than 24 hours: No refunds, but credits may be extended
  • 24-48 hours: Pro subscribers receive 1 extra day of subscription (pro-rated credit)
  • More than 48 hours: Pro-rated refund or credit extension at your choice

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

7.1 Chargeback Policy

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us:

  • Your account may be immediately suspended
  • We may dispute the chargeback with supporting documentation
  • Chargeback fees may be passed to you if the dispute is resolved in our favor
  • Future access to the Service may be restricted

7.2 Dispute Resolution

8. Fraud and Abuse

Refund requests may be denied or accounts suspended if we detect:

  • Repeated refund abuse (excessive requests)

  • Fraudulent activity or suspicious behavior

9. EU Consumer Rights (14-Day Withdrawal)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from digital service purchases within 14 days, unless you have:

  • Started using the Service (sent AI requests)
  • Explicitly agreed to waive the withdrawal right

By using BatchJob.ai after purchase, you acknowledge that the Service has been provided immediately and you waive your right to withdraw under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision.
